“Urban Ministry” is too broad a phrase as there are varied demographics within cities, and urban problems in both suburb and rural environments. Our discussion today will flow from the New City context and will primarily refer to “inner city” evangelism, as we pursue discipleship and church planting in marginalized neighborhoods, among people who are not flourishing- but/and yet with the active participation of middle-class believers integrated into the congregation.
