RTS Charlotte: The Center for Church Planting

Dean Faulkner is Director of the Center for Church Planting at RTS Charlotte. He is also the Lead Pastor at his second church plant – South Charlotte Pres.  The Center work is his side hustle for the kingdom where he helps reproduce planters and future leaders.  

Jake Hooker is a graduate of RTS-C and moved back to his hometown of Roanoke, VA at the end of last year to plant Providence Presbyterian Church.

Steven Cooper is a PCA pastor in San Diego, CA. He was the lead pastor of Harbor City Church Downtown. Last year he left Harbor and launched Clarity Focus Heart Coaching & Consulting 

Ron Lowe serves as Executive Director of Every Valley Leadership Academy, a mentoring outreach in East Chattanooga.

Corey Pelton was recently called by Tennessee Valley Presbytery as an Evangelist to start Rural Church Development in southern Appalachia (extreme N Georgia and SE TN) with a goal of Developing, Encouraging, and Resourcing rural church plants.

Hutch Garmany is the pastor of Grace Community in Trenton GA, a rural southern Appalachian town in NW Georgia (base of Lookout Mtn.) of 5K.  Hutch is the chair of the Tennessee Valley Church MNA committee.

Tim Inman is the Pastor of Christ Church in Dunn NC. He and his family moved back to Tim’s hometown in Spring of 2019 to scratch plant.

Kent Suits is in his 4th year of planting Christ Community Church in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. He started a plant with 7 members of an Independent Methodist congregation who gave their church property to the PCA to start a new church in this historic, diverse, rural, southern town.

Chris Vogel mentioned the work done by Dr. Chris Polski. Chris is the current and founding Pastor of Trinity Church Kirkwood since 2007. Prior to that, he served as the first successor Pastor of Golden Isles Presbyterian Church, and before that was the youth minister and Assistant Pastor at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church.
